"APT.," a duet between ROSÉ from the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and American pop star Bruno Mars, has rocked the music world.
Her management agency Black Label on Oct. 23 said the song's music video exceeded 100 million views on YouTube in just five days after its pre-release on Oct. 18.
The clip earned massive attention in showing ROSÉ and Mars in funny scenes, attracting over 25 million hits on the platform just 24 hours after its debut.
"APT." quickly topped global music charts such as Spotify of the U.S. and iTunes lists in 40 regions, along with the domestic charts Melon and Genie.
Featuring the pitch and rhythm of a Korean drinking game, the hit is included in the singer's debut full-length solo album "Rosie" slated for release in December.
The song's unique and addictive chorus is going viral worldwide, with videos of people singing the chorus trending on social media.
